I have a Sollatek SVS04-22E, which is supposed to have a 6-minute delay. However, when I powered it on for the first time, the delay was only 10 to 20 seconds. Is there a problem with the unit?

Some SVS04-22E models (depending on which year of manufacture), will have a 30 minute initial power up period before it will assume its normal working start up delay time. This is an important feature used for production purposes. This is a one time only set up when the unit is brand new. Power up the unit and leave it to run for 30 minutes. After that, the standard delay time of the unit will be as per the user manual. i.e. approximately 6 minutes on startup.
